Michelle Belanger

Michelle discovered her love for event planning at an early age—a passion that would shape her professional journey. In 1999, she joined the California Reading Association, where she managed exhibits, coordinated speakers, and oversaw membership initiatives.

In 2005, Michelle co-founded Encompass Event Planners, a company that quickly gained recognition for its specialized work with educational speakers nationwide. A connection with John Seidlitz at a SIOP Institute conference led to a long-standing partnership, and Encompass soon began supporting the daily operations of Seidlitz Education, LLC.

Today, Michelle serves as Director of Accounting at Seidlitz Education, where she oversees the company’s financial operations with precision and care.

Michelle lives in San Clemente, California, with her husband, Donald. Now an empty nester, she enjoys visiting her two college-aged children who are both studying in the South. After work, she loves playing pickleball with her friends and staying active in her community.
