Comprehensible Input in the Time of Covid
Delivering lessons that are comprehensible for students is an essential skill for teachers of ELs. However, this is often easier said than done, especially in content classrooms where, though teachers are experts on their material, they may have little experience with language acquisition strategies. The challenge of making content concepts understandable has been further compounded by COVID-19, as many of our classrooms are now blending in-person and remote teaching.
