Kathy Belanger

With over 42 years of experience, Kathy served as the director of The California Reading from 1982 to 2023. Driven by her passion for supporting classroom educators, she has also served as the lead event planner for The SIOP Institute. In 2005, Kathy and her colleague Michelle co-founded Encompass Event Planners, which has thrived over the past 20 years. Their collaboration with Seidlitz Education, LLC began in 2008 and eventually led to Kathy taking on the role of Director of Operations.

Kathy lives in San Clemente with her husband, Bruce. The couple recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
