Julie Gibson

Julie Gibson specializes in instructional coaching, PLC facilitation, and delivering engaging, transformative professional development. She also serves Seidlitz Education as a Content Developer, working extensively to create visual and language scaffolds with The Visual Non-Glossary. Julie is a former science facilitator and dual language teacher who has taught in transitional, one-way and two-way dual language programs. She has also written curriculum for a large school district in Texas where she worked with teachers to support students in developing academic language, particularly in science.

Julie has a BA in Spanish from Texas A&M University and is certified in Bilingual Education. She has also studied in the Intensive Spanish Program at the Linguistic and Multicultural Center in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and in 2023 was a Lewisville ISD Learning and Teaching Employee of the Year finalist. Julie is passionate about meeting the needs of multilingual learners through the 5E model of instruction, particularly in the science classroom.
