
Tracye Thomas
Educational Consultant
Tracye Thomas is a passionate educational consultant with Seidlitz Education, where she works to empower educators with strategies and tools to support multilingual learners. With a career rooted in advocacy and innovation, Tracye brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to improving outcomes for Emergent Bilingual students. As an educator she's held positions ranging from teaching Reading Language Arts and ESL to District Secondary Instructional Specialist.
In addition to her consulting work, Tracye serves as a Region 4 Title III Leadership member and is an active participant in the Region 4 Secondary ESL Collaborative Cohort. Through these roles, she collaborates with fellow leaders to drive initiatives that foster equity and academic success for English learners across the region.
Moreover, as the Language Acquisition Coordinator for Brazosport Independent School District, Tracye leads the implementation of the "Discovering Languages" program—an exploratory world languages course for junior high students. She has shared her insights on this initiative in the Teaching Languages Today podcast by Mango Languages, highlighting the value of early exposure to language and culture.
Tracye’s work is fueled by a mission to uplift multilingual voices and ensure that every student—regardless of language background—has access to high-quality and responsive education. She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and a Bachelors in Applied Arts and Sciences. Tracye is a native of Beaumont, Texas and resides in the Houston metropolitan area with her BIG fur child!
