What does quality writing instruction for English learners look like? 

This online session will offer ELA/ELAR teachers, Instructional Coaches, and Program/ Campus Administrators an insight into the unique needs of emergent bilingual writers. The information shared during the session will equip participants with tools to identify and implement effective writing techniques in various settings, from newcomer centers to content-based ELAR sheltered instruction classrooms. This session relies on the comprehensive Building Better Writers resource, and we strongly recommend the purchase of the book, authored by Natalia.
