Allison Hand comes to us from Region 13 where she delivered professional development as well as coached in secondary schools working with teachers on sheltered instruction and ESL strategies. She worked for several years as an ELA and Reading teacher of ESL and language learning students at both the middle and high school levels. As a passionate advocate for her students, she moved into Instructional Coaching to share her knowledge with colleagues. The time spent in the classroom and as a part of school leadership are cherished memories full of fun and educational experiences.
Allison earned a Master’s in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of New Mexico. She has had the opportunity to present both in Texas and internationally.
