Allison Hand

Educational Consultant

Allison Hand is an educational consultant for Seidlitz Education. She was introduced to and built her love for language learning as a high school student participating in the German American Partnership Program (GAPP) as a foreign exchange student in Germany. While in college, she jumped at an opportunity to teach English in Guatemala. These experiences guided her to be a high school and middle school ESL/ELA teacher.

She continues to share her passion through professional development and instructional coaching focusing on sheltered instruction and second language acquisition. She has presented both in Texas and internationally. Allison has worked closely with Natalia Heckman to create the Moving ELs Forward series that include EOC Writing and practical ways to build students’ proficiency in all content areas with a focus on TELPAS.

She holds a Master’s in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of New Mexico. Allison resides in Fort Worth, TX with her family.
